Anandhi Rajan has been a certified and registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution since 2015. She brings to her mediation practice almost thirty years of experience litigating civil cases arising from torts and employment practices, including products liability, premises liability, automobile liability, breach of contract, mass torts, general liability and a variety of employment disputes, including agency actions brought by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Anandhi has been a litigation partner at the law firm of Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP since 2001. Previously, she practiced with another well-regarded Atlanta law firm for five years. She also served as staff attorney for the Honorable Gail S. Tusan of the Fulton County Judicial Circuit for two years prior to entering private practice. Anandhi has practiced in all state and federal courts in Georgia. In addition to trial work, she has had significant experience with alternative dispute resolution at both the administrative agency level and in litigated matters. In 2005 and 2006, Anandhi was selected for inclusion in the Georgia Super Lawyers® — Rising Stars list. She is AV®Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated ¹ by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Anandhi serves on the Board of the Leadership Institute for Women of Color Attorneys and has served as chair/co-chair of various planning committees for LIWOCA’s annual conference for several years and was the President for the 2020 Annual Conference. Anandhi is also the Treasurer of the National Retail and Restaurant Defense Association (NRRDA) having been selected for that position in 2022. Previously, she served a 3 year term from 2019-2022 as a Board member of NRRDA . She has also served as Chair of the Scholarship and Sponsorship Committee of NRRDA and successfully led her committee to raise sponsorship funds sufficient to award numerous scholarships to industry members to attend the Annual Conference.

Anandhi has also been a member of the Defense Research Institute (“DRI”) since 1997 and has served on the steering committee of the Employment Law section of DRI since 2003.

Anandhi has spoken at several State Bar of Georgia programs on alternative dispute resolution.
